About Me

Originally from Washington, D.C., Madeleine Metz launched The Next XI at age fourteen, beginning with a focus on women’s soccer before expanding to cover tennis, soccer, and Formula 1. Her work blends sports analysis with insights on culture, branding, and the business of sport, shaped by her academic background in Philosophy and Economics. Now based in the UK and studying at the University of Edinburgh, she is building a portfolio across the global tennis circuit. In 2025, she was Highly Commended for the BTJA Mike Dickson Award.
